1. A series where the mc isn’t pairs don’t up like a doomed light- hair and dark-hair plot.
2. A Yaoi where the small one is the top and the partner that’s bigger than them is the bottom. (Ex: Love AI)
3. Yaoi that’s relatable and connect readers irl (Ex: One Room TA). And focuses other things rather than s@x, toxicity, etc. (One Room TA is sorta a good example since it talks about school too and a bit of comedy)
4. A Yaoi where the main couple isn't always rich. (CUS DUDES, I ALWAYS SEE TYPICAL SERIES HAVE PROTAGONISTS EITHER RICH, SUCCESSFUL, AND HAVE AN EASY LIFE)-Which means I'm looking into relationships where the characters have to work hard while having unlucky problems along the way.

I'm on the Rashta hate band wagon at the beginning, that is until I started to see this story a bit more critically and noticed that almost everyone is kinda sorta scummy in their own way.
And while slavery was practicaly normalized in that universe, anyone that is the closest thing to "heroic" don't do shit about it.
If on looks at it in some other way, Rashta is just a girl with little to no education that is trying to survive with only the tools that she had, and carrying with a lot of baggage and trauma. But even she made questionable choices.
If anything, this is more or less a deconstruction on a typical fantasy romance with poltical games that is close but not quite on par with Game of Thrones.

Dohyeon falls under the second category.
I can’t say I hated this story, but I didn’t like it that much either because of a certain someone. Dohyeon made me physically recoil every time he does something, he’s just weird and genuinely creepy. The ending doesn’t do it justice, he should’ve been behind bars or a glimpse of him in the court. It made me so terrible that Max didn’t feel any anger towards his owner, only sincere understanding to why he is that kind of person—and it makes sense which hurts more. I’m glad that Max, thankfully, ended up with seungyu but we all knew it’ll happen. I just didn’t like how under those 20-ish chapters it somehow got worse day by day because Max doesn’t have a clue about Dohyeon’s horrible acts. When he met Seungyu, he learnt many of firsts with him on an underlying tone of affection. I’m a little pissed that it took him so long to realize (Dohyeon’s abuse), but he’s a dog, I can’t be mad at him for being a little slow. He was controlled for like 80% of his life. I’m relieved he started gaining independence and more control of his life by the end, I liked that ending and I could see what the author was trying to get at.
Good read! Although it would make you thrash your body around and scream because of anger. Their lack of support (people to help them) made me frustrated, but they did gain some (the black dog and the two other girls, love them) that drove this story to flying colors. Would read more of this author’s work! I was just pissed off of Dohyeon, but if we’re focusing on Seungyu and Samsam’s lovey dovey lives, it’s pretty wholesome and funny!
so they share fate but woori's destined to have an early death so subin is kinda like an anchor for him in this life? is that why the mom paid subin's mom so they will be friends? maybe proximity plays a role bcs in all the past lives they drifted apart and when they meet subin kills him. Why do I feel like woori's going to die and then we'll get a version of subin looping to save woori
Better than a girlfriend? Can’t even properly ask her to be her boyfriend? Yk shoutout to the 00s shoujos, might have been toxic but at least when they wanted the girl they actually fought for her.
